TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Gymnastics will be hosting its annual Meet the Team Intrasquad Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. in McKale. The doors will open at 1 p.m.
Admission for the 2016 season preview is free and seating is open. Season ticket holders will be able to pick up season tickets prior to the event.
The event will give fans a sneak peek at the GymCats roster and routines for the 2016 season. The gymnasts will be introduced and will divide into two teams on each event for an intra-squad competition. Arizona Athletic’s Ross Cobb, Kylie Louw, Matt Dudek, Coach Candrea, and wife, Tina Candrea will serve as judges for the event! At the conclusion of the meet, the GymCats will be available for a meet and greet and autographs.
Fans at the intra-squad will see ten returning letterwinners, including seniors Lexi Mills, Danielle Buchanan, Shelby Edwards and Pac-12 Floor Champion, Jessie Sisler. Fans will also get their first look at the team’s six freshmen.
Arizona’s freshman class consists of Skyler Sheppard, Danielle Spencer, Brittany Robertson, Lauryn Mattson, Haylie Hendrickson and Charle Dembo.
Season tickets are on sale for $20 and can be purchased HERE.
The Wildcats will open their season on Jan. 8 at home against Michigan State. The meet will be at 6 p.m. and will be aired on the Pac-12 Network.
