TUCSON, Ariz. – Redshirt junior-to-be Aaron Castle earned Third-Team honors on the Capital One Academic All-America Team on Thursday, which is selected by CoSIDA.
Castle finished the year with a 3.68 GPA while majoring in Biology. The junior has excelled in the classroom since he has been a Wildcat. He has already earned Pac-12 First-Team All-Academic honors in 2015. In 2014, he was named to the Pac-12 All-Academic First Team and was an MPSF All-Academic selection as well.
He finished his redshirt sophomore season at the NCAA Championships where he earned NCAA Second-Team All-America accolades by finishing in 16th place overall in the shot put.
