There are several programs and group workshops that students can attend to find a sense of belonging and develop and framework for success in all areas of their life.

Personal Development
We offer student-led groups and events focused on belonging, identity, and setting the foundation for future success.  Our goal is to help students understand their values, strengths, identities, goals & how to create a fulfilling life.
 
Programs and Events in this Area Include
  • Orientation  
  • Study Abroad
  • Cats Connect Mentor Program
  • Groups – Inspiring Women, Million Dollar Men, Men and Women of Purpose, SAAC Open Meetings
  • SAS 101 First Year Success Class - in collaboration with C.A.T.S. Academics 
  • Other workshops as requested: i.e. - communication, emotional intelligence, healthy living, time management, diversity and inclusion – understanding our unique identities 
Leadership Development
Teamwork, collaboration, and leadership are some of the top competencies that contribute to a successful transition out of college. We believe that every student-athlete is a leader and can make an impact. We focus on emotionally intelligent and strengths-based leadership so that everyone can reach their full potential.
