Coach Niya Butts and the Arizona women's basketball team has planned a special event Sunday prior to its game against UCLA to honor cancer survivors.
The Wildcats will host their second annual "Still Standing" reception Sunday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Jim Click Hall of Champions. Hors d'oeurves and refreshments will be served. The basketball program will recognize Wildcat fans, family members and friends that have been impacted by cancer. To RSVP for this event, click here.
The entire day will be dedicated as the "Still Standing" game where survivors will me honored both at the pregame celebration and during the game.
The Wildcats are currently 11-11 on the season and 8-3 at McKale Center. The team has four home games remaining. Before hosting UCLA on Sunday, Arizona will play host to USC. The team's final two home games are set for Feb. 19 and Feb. 21 against Washington and Washington State respectively.
