Nick Foles to the Jaguars
Nick Foles ('11) has officially signed a contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Here are a few things to note:
1. Foles transferred to Arizona after spending 2007 at Michigan State
2. In his first year with the Wildcats, he won the starting role mid-season and never looked back
3. He led the Wildcats to a 7-1 start in 2010, including a win over #9 Iowa
4. In 2011, Foles finished the season first in the Pac-12 Conference and fifth in the nation with an average of 352.58 yards of total offense per game
5. In Jacksonville Foles will reunite with John DeFilippo, the former Philadelphia Eagles' QB coach during his run as Super Bowl MVP and current Jaguars offensive coordinator
6. At this time, Foles is expected to be the Jaguars' starting quarterback entering the 2019 season
