New England Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick
“Jedd Fisch is one of the most outstanding coaches I have worked with and was an excellent addition to our staff this year. Jedd has gained a wealth of experience in numerous organizations, in college and the NFL, and is ready to lead the Arizona program. Although we will miss his contributions here, we wish Jedd and Amber well at the University of Arizona, home to two of the greatest Patriots, Tedy Bruschi and Rob Gronkowksi, as well as our current Wildcats, Nick Folk and J.J. Taylor.”
Seattle Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll
“Jedd was on my first staff with the Seahawks. I’ve followed his career closely over the years, and he is highly qualified for the job,” said Seattle Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll. “Jedd is a gifted offensive mind, and he will do a great job leading and caring for the University of Arizona program.”
Los Angeles Rams Head Coach Sean McVay
“Coach Fisch is a great leader and an even better person, which makes him a great fit to help lead, teach and develop young men to help them reach their highest potential on and off the grass. He is a relentless worker and has a contagious enthusiasm that makes him someone you want to follow. I'm grateful for my time working with Coach Fisch and I can't wait to watch him lead the Arizona program.”
Los Angeles Rams General Manager Les Snead
“Jedd is a very passionate and adept football coach with diverse experience that will pay impactful dividends during this chapter of leading the Arizona Wildcat football program and engineering the culture needed to consistently compete in the Pac-12. He was a valuable assistant for Sean (McVay) during his two seasons in Los Angeles and that diverse experience provided Jedd the opportunity to play an integral role during our journey to an NFC Championship and appearance in the Super Bowl."
Hall of Fame Head Coach Steve Spurrier
“I believe the University of Arizona has made an excellent hire for its head football coach position in Jedd Fisch. I have known Jedd since he was a volunteer student assistant at the University of Florida 20 years ago. I have followed his progress since, and he has been under some of the best college coaches, as well as the top NFL coaches, in the the last several years. I really believe he will do a super job at Arizona. I believe as far as knowing offense there are few college coaches in the country that can coach it any better than Jedd Fisch. I'm looking forward to seeing the Arizona Wildcats consistently compete for Pac-12 championships in the near future. Good luck to the Wildcats and Jedd Fisch!"
New England Patriots Quarterback Cam Newton
"Jedi – he was such a positive force for me, ever since I’ve been in Boston, or Foxborough, or New England, or wherever. He’s just been a person that has kind of catered to me – on the field, off the field. He’s just been an ear for me, as well as the ‘advisory’ person of reasoning, the counsel, and a lot of other things, especially learning this offense. I just can’t thank him enough. I know he’s going to do a great job down in Tucson. When I heard the news, it was almost as if we were on each other’s WiFi because he was so happy. Not that he hasn’t been happy since he’s been here, but it’s just a different kind of steez about a person when it’s just like ‘OK, something’s up.’ I remember, me and my assistant having a conversation yesterday, or the day before the news came out, and when we talked I just knew he had already gotten the job. But it could not have happened to any better person or a person that is more deserving than Jedd. I’m just curious to see what he’s going to do with a program that’s in dire need of a winner like him. I know that program is going to be in good hands for years to come, and I just can’t wait to see his production over the years.”

Super Bowl Champion Head Coach Brian Billick
"I have been so fortunate to have so many good coaches work with me. I have had nine become head coaches: David Shaw, Marvin Lewis, Mike Singletary, Jack Del Rio, Mike Smith; Jedd Fisch is the most ready to become a head coach of any coach I've ever worked with. He's one of the brightest coaches I've ever been around. He will be phenomenal at the University of Arizona."
