Christopher Citro is a Tucson native who is an alumnus of Santa Rita High School. Wanting to further his education in the automotive field, he attended Wyoming Technical Institute and graduated with honors.  His extensive experience in the automotive field at Jim Click Ford and Chuck Hawk Automotive enhances the student experience in his classroom.

Citro currently teaches Automotive Technology at Marana High School. The curriculum includes an online textbook and technical service manuals. However, it’s the hands-on experience that makes Citro’s classes meaningful to the students. By the end of the program, students can earn credit for three Pima Community College courses, complete Manufacture Training through Ford and Mopar, and earn up to 9 Entry Level ASE Certifications before graduation.

Citro’s work doesn’t stop when school ends. His automotive club sponsors the annual community car show and the Arizona High School Pit Crew Challenge which hosts over 100 students from all over Arizona. This year Citro raised $4000.00 for student and school awards. As a sportsman drag racer, Citro coordinates the Jr. Street and High School drag racing at Tucson Dragway. He also enjoys being an adjunct faculty member at Pima Community college for the Automotive Department.
