Smith, the first Women's Basketball player at Arizona to score 1,000 career points, enters the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame after having earned a spot in the Ring of Honor this year. Over 33 years after her playing career ended, Smith still remains in the program's all-time top ten for numerous records. At the time of her graduation in 1986 she held the Wildcats all-time scoring record with 1,264 career points. Smith picked up All-Pac-West First Team honors her senior year to cap one of the most prolific careers seen to date.
