Jaime Bernier was named Head Cheerleading and Mascot Coach in July 2014. Bernier oversees mascots and cheerleaders for football, volleyball, and men’s and women’s basketball.
Bernier worked for 14 years as a middle school Physical Education Teacher in Tucson. She began her coaching career while in college, coaching high school cheerleading for 13 years and three years at Pima Community College prior to Arizona.
Born and raised in Tucson, Bernier has always been a Wildcat. She earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Education in 2000, and was a member of the University of Arizona Cheerleading team from 1997-2000.
