Bryan Klobucar

Bryan Klobucar enters his third year with the Arizona strength and conditioning program. He assisted with the football program during the 2015, but assumed primary work with the team in January in addition to working with the track and field throwers.

Klobucar came to Arizona from Black Hills State University where he was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for one year. In that role, he had direct oversight of athletic performance protocol for all of the Yellow Jacket athletic teams.

He went to Black Hills State University from Boise State University.  There, he was in direct oversight of the Swimming and Diving and Track & Field programs, while assisting with Football.  Under his direction the Swimming and Diving team captured the Mountain West Conference Championship and the Women’s Track & Field team finished in 8th place nationally, its highest ever ranking.

Prior to Boise State, Klobucar served at Gardner-Webb University as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Performance Coach.  Before Gardner-Webb University, he served as an Athletic Performance Intern at UCLA, and an Assistant Strength and Conditioning/Defensive Line Coach at his Alma Mater Saginaw Valley State University.

Klobucar obtained his Master of Arts in Sport Science and Pedagogy from Gardner-Webb University and Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Saginaw Valley State University. While at Saginaw Valley State University he was a member of the football team from 2005-2009 and All-GLIAC during his senior year.

Klobucar is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), the Functional Movements Systems as a Functional Movement Systems Level 1 (FMS), the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association as Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC), United States of America Weightlifting as a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach (USAW), and also CPR/AED/First Aid certified.
