Year at Arizona: Second

Arizona alum Kylan Butler is in his second season as an offensive graduate assistant under head coach Rich Rodriguez. He joined the staff in summer 2014 and works with the receivers while assisting with all facets of the offense. Previously, he served as running backs and slot receivers coach at Pueblo High School in Tucson.

A native of Antioch, Calif. and a graduate of stellar prep program De La Salle High School, Butler played in 35 career games as a running back and on special teams for the Wildcats. He was part of three bowl teams, including the Gildan New Mexico and AdvoCare V100 Bowl Champions. He was a founding member of Arizona’s chapter of Uplifting Athletes.

Butler earned his bachelor’s degree in social, behavioral and human understanding in May 2013. He’s pursuing a master’s degree in educational psychology.
