Ty Nichols enters his second season as a defensive graduate assistant at Arizona in 2023. Nichols, who walked on at Wyoming as a fullback and defensive end, graduated with a degree in mathematics and minor in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech. He worked on the football staff at Texas Tech and also coached at Idalou High School in his hometown in Idalou, Texas. Nichols and his wife Marissa reside in Tucson.
