High School: Football, track and field and baseball letterwinner at Buchanan High School…Co-captain his senior year…Honorable mention all-conference in 2013…Recorded 76 tackles and two interceptions his senior season.

Personal: Son of Rich and Shannon Merritt…Father played golf at San Jose State…Has one brother, Matthew…Majoring in Business Management.
