Demontae Haigler

DeMontae Haigler

DeMontae Haigler joins the Arizona Football program as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in January of 2025. He joins the program after three years in similar roles with Eastern Kentucky, Arkansas, and Texas A&M. 

Haigler most recently served as Director of Sports Science and Assistant Director of Sports Performance for the football program at Eastern Kentucky. He joined EKU in March of 2024 and meticulously crafted recovery and conditioning plans individually to each player.
 
Prior to EKU, Haigler spent a couple of months at the University of Arkansas as a Strength and Conditioning Intern. He served as a professional intern coach with the football program, participating in weekly staff-led professional development and helped implement the “Fourth Quarter” offseason program, a comprehensive program focused on mental toughness, speed development, agility drills, and building aerobic capacity.
 
Haigler spent the 2023 season with Texas A&M football also serving as an administrative strength & conditioning coach. Before his stint with the Aggies, Haigler began his career at the University of Louisiana-Monroe, where he served as a Graduate Assistant.
 
A former student-athlete, Haigler played football at Bowling Green State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Shortly after, he earned his master’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Louisiana-Monroe.

The Montgomery, Alabama native is a certified strength & conditioning specialist with the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). He also holds a certification as a United States Weightlifting Association Level 1 Weightlifting Coach (USAw).
