Sean Kenneally enters his third season with the Arizona Wildcats in 2025, having returned to the University of Arizona as the Assistant Director of Equipment Operations in 2023. In July 2024, he was promoted to Director of Equipment Operations.
In his role, Kenneally oversees the daily operations of the football equipment room, managing two full-time assistants and a team of 15 student managers. He serves as the football program’s primary liaison with Nike, handling football apparel, uniforms, and footwear needs. Additionally, he is responsible for equipment logistics, including road game trucking and travel coordination.
Before returning to Arizona, Kenneally gained valuable experience as a Graduate Assistant in Equipment Operations for Arizona State Football and as an equipment volunteer for the Kansas City Chiefs during Super Bowl LVII. At ASU, he played a key role in managing inventory, assisting with equipment orders, and distributing apparel for players, coaches, and staff. He also coordinated logistics for away games, ensuring efficient packing, transportation, and setup of team equipment.
Kenneally began his career in equipment operations as a student manager for Arizona Football from 2018 to 2022, eventually rising to head student manager. In this role, he supervised and mentored over 20 student workers, managed inventory, and worked closely with coaches and staff to facilitate practice drills. During his final two seasons, he worked directly with the head football coach to ensure all apparel and equipment needs were met for optimal practice operations.
A proud Arizona alumnus, Kenneally earned his Bachelor’s degree in General Studies with a concentration in Business and Leadership in May 2022. He later earned his Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, graduating with honors from Arizona State.
