Heather Frushour

Heather Frushour enters her fourth season at the University of Arizona as the Director of Operations for the men's and women's track and field and cross country programs. 

Frushour has held the position of Head Cross Country and Track coach at Empire High School in the Vail School District since 2016. She was named one of only a few National Coaches of the Year by the Positive Coaching Alliance in 2020. Prior to being named head coach, she worked as an assistant coach for two years.

She has an extensive background in digital communications as both a technical education teacher and a creative director. Since 2017, she has been teaching graphic design, film and tv in the Vail District. She has also aided businesses and organizations in creating and establishing their brands since 2012, specializing in marketing communications.

Frushour was formerly a distance runner at BYU where she earned her degree in business management.
