2018-19: Earned Pac-12 All-Academic Second team honors...Placed 1st in the 200 IM (1:46.16) against Arizona State...
2017-18: Had the fourth fastest time on the team in the 100 breast with 56.24 at Pac-12 Championships...At the Texas Invitational, earned the fifth fastest team time in the 200 breast with 2:06.65.
High School: A four-time letter winner at Boulder Creek High School in the 200 IM and 100 breast…Earned Most Valuable Freshman in 2013…Named Athlete of the Month in October of 2016…Named to the Boulder Creek Swim Hall of Fame in November of 2016…In the top 10% of his class academically.
Personal: Born Dakota Dixon Rubie to Jon and Kim Rubie in July of 1998…Has two sisters, Meredyth and Gabby…Plans to major in Physiology…Wants to be a chiropractor…Enjoys watching movies in his free time…Chose the University of Arizona over Arizona State and the University of Utah because of the “family comradery feel”
