- Became the program's first All-American since 2006 by reaching the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Singles Championships
- Defeated four ranked opponents on his way to the NCAA Singles Championships Final Four, three of which were ranked in the top 20
- Compiled an impressive 34-11 singles record on the year and defeated 19 nationally-ranked opponents
- His 34 wins set a program record for singles wins in a single season
- Played exclusively at No. 1 singles, going 14-6 in dual match play
- Totaled 30 doubles victories, winning 26 of those alongside Jay Friend, tying with Friend for the most in a single season by a player in program history

- Earned a berth in the NCAA Singles Championships
- Led the team in overall singles with a 26-11 record
- Team's leader in dual match doubles victories, going 15-6
- Won eight of 12 nationally-ranked contests and
- Played mainly in the No. 1 singles spot, where he compiled a 13-4 record
- Defeated USC’s Stefan Dostanic twice, once in the fall when the Trojan was ranked #1 in the country and again in the spring
- Helped clinch essential doubles points against Pepperdine, San Diego, Baylor and UCLA, playing in the No. 2 spot alongside either Jared Horwood or Nick Lagaev.
- Clinched the match against Boise State to send Arizona to the round of 32 in the NCAA tournament
- One of two Wildcats to win their singles matches against Ohio State in the Sweet 16
- Part of the 2023 Wildcat squad that led the nation's D1 tennis teams in community service hours

High School
Smith, a Blue-Chip American recruit, was ranked No. 7 in the United States and had the third-highest Tennis RPI in the country. He was also ranked as high as No. 257 in the world in the ITF Junior World Rankings and ranked a 13.09 UTR. After finishing fifth at the 2019 National Clay Court Championships, he was a finalist at the J4 Daytona Beach ITF Tournament and was also the winner of the 2019 Pacific Northwest Sectional in the 18U Championships, making him ranked No. 1 in the states of Washington and Oregon. Smith took 3
rd place at the US Nationals in Kalamazoo in singles and doubles and won the National Sportsmanship award. He won the prestigious Easter Bowl Championships in doubles and played in the 2021 US Open, making the round of 16 beating the #6 ranked player in the world enroute. He is the highest ranked American recruit of Clancy Shields’ tenure, ranking No. 2 in his recruiting class per Tennisrecruiting.net.
Personal
Smith is the son of Brodie and Jennifer and has a sister named Chloe. He was coached by Jody Rush in his younger years.
