  • Won a program-record 21 singles matches during dual match competition
  • Went 28-9 in singles and 22-10 in doubles
  • His 22 doubles wins tie him for fourth in program history in single-season doubles victories
  • Went on a 13-match win streak during dual match play, winning every match from Feb. 2, 2024 to March 29, 2024
  • Defeated No. 55 Kenta Miyoshi to help secure Arizona's win over No. 11 Illinois
  • Was the first Wildcat with a singles win against Auburn, helping send the squad to the NCAA Championships Sweet 16
  • Clinched Arizona's win over No. 3 Texas with a three-set takedown of Cleeve Harper at No. 5 singles
  • Tallied 15 of his dual match doubles wins at the No. 2 spot

Junior (2022-23)

  • All-Pac-12 Second Team
  • Compiled a 23-11 singles record and 15-12 doubles record
  • Accumulating 14 dual singles wins and 10 dual doubles wins
  • Represented his country in the 2023 Davis Cup for the second time in his career
  • Clinched the match against Oklahoma State to send Arizona to its second-ever Sweet 16
  • One of two Wildcats to win their match against the Buckeyes in the NCAA Championships Sweet 16
  • Competed primarily at No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles 
  • Part of the 2023 Wildcat squad that led D1 tennis teams in community service hours
 

Sophomore (2021-22)
  • All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention
  • Second-leading Wildcat in singles wins, completing the season with a 23-7 singles record
  • Played consistently at the No. 4 spot
  • Went 18-12 in doubles where he played in the No. 1 spot with Jonas Ziverts
  • Remained in the ITA polls throughout the spring, achieving his highest ranking at No. 56 in singles
  • Finished the season ranked in singles at No. 104 and in doubles at No. 52
  • Ranked at No. 17 in the regional singles rankings and No. 4 in doubles alongside Ziverts in the regional doubles rankings
 

Freshman (2020-21)
  • Played primarily in the postseason and finished 5-1 in singles, including a ranked win

Before College
Herman Hoyeraal hails from Oslo, Norway, where he is the No. 1 Norwegian prospect. Herman won the Grade 2 ITF Title in Sanxenxo Spain, and was apart of the Norwegian Davis Cup team in September. Hoyeraal joins the Wildcats with a Universal Tennis Rating high of 12.93 and an ITF ranking high as No. 113.
