Fifth-year (2022-23)
Jonas Ziverts will go down in Arizona Tennis history as one of the most decorated student-athletes both on and off the courts. In his fifth and final year with the program, Ziverts accumulated an overall record of 22-10 in singles and 16-11 in doubles. He advanced to the semifinals of the San Francisco Battle in the Bay tournament after defeating the then No. 5 player in the country. It was the furthest any Wildcat has ever made it at that tournament, and the performance earned him a wildcard selection in the ATP Tiburon Challenger. Ziverts had a career high ITA national ranking of No. 19 at the end of the 2022 preseason polls and remained a top 50 singles player for the entire spring season. Not only was he ranked individually, Ziverts was also ranked in doubles alongside Jay Friend and Herman Hoeyeraal for the final three months of dual play. He led the team to its back-to-back Pac-12 regular season championship, the first NCAA hosting responsibility in program history, the second ever Sweet 16 appearance, and a perfect 14-0 home record. The fifth-year captain, hailing from Solna, Sweden, ends his Arizona career tied for 5th in all-time singles wins with 71 total, and is the third-leading doubles player in program history with 55 total wins. Ziverts was named Pac-12 Player of the Week two times this spring, honored on the All-Pac-12 First Team and CSC Academic All-District Team, qualified for his third NCAA Singles Championship tournament, and is the first Wildcat in program history to earn the Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year. He will continue his tennis career in the professional circuit, competing in four California tournaments this 2023 summer.

Senior (2021-22)
Ziverts, who played the majority of the season at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles, finished his fourth season with an overall record of 11-17 in singles and 13-12 in doubles. He had five ranked wins that all ended in historic victories for the Wildcats. In ITA ranks, Ziverts finished at No. 49 in singles and No. 52 in doubles with his season-long partner Herman Hoeyeraal, and ranked No. 7 in singles and No. 4 in doubles in the ITA regional rankings. He made his second appearance at the NCAA Singles Championships and won his first match ever at the tournament after defeating UNLV's Christopher Bulus in round one. Ziverts was named to the first team All-Pac-12, and awarded Pac-12 Player of the Week twice throughout the regular season. He was also named an ITA Scholar Athlete in 2022.

Junior (2020-21)
Ziverts finished his third season as a Wildcat with a 10-9 singles record and a 12-9 doubles record. In singles, he finished with four ranked wins including one to clinch the sweep over ASU in the final regular season match. He was the only Wildcat to finish the season ranked in both singles and doubles and was named to the second team All-Pac-12.

Sophomore (2019-20)
Ziverts ranked as high as No. 38 in the ITA singles rankings during the season and remained ranked the whole season. He racked up four ranked wins as he finished the season with a 14-7 singles record with an 8-1 dual singles record. He won seven doubles matches overall and five in the spring.The 2019-2020 season was cut short due to COVID-19.

Freshman (2018-19)
Joined the Wildcats in the Spring in 2019 and finished with a record of 12-7, with 10 wins coming from the No. 1 spot in the lineup .. Became the first Wildcat to play at the NCAA Singles Championships since Naoki Takeda in 2015 ... Was one of four freshmen in the Pac-12 to be named All-Pac-12 and was also named the ITA Southwest Rookie of the Year ... Finished the season ranked in the ITA polls ... Defeated the No. 12 singles player in the country at the Pac-12 Championships ... Won five matches with Igor Karpovets at the top spot of the doubles lineup.

PREP
Ziverts is the highest ranked prospect that Shields has signed during his time at Arizona. He was ranked as high as No. 47 in the ITF Junior Rankings, No. 1,234 on the ATP World Tour and was rated as high as a 14.18 Universal Tennis Rating (UTR).
 
As one of the top junior tennis players in the world, Ziverts competed at the 2016 Junior US Open, winning a pair of matches in the qualifying rounds before advancing to compete in the main draw. Ziverts has been training at the Good to Great Tennis Academy in Stockholm.
