2017 XC: Competed in six events, winning two ... Finished first at the George Kyte Classic with a time of 15:06.30 in the 2.6 mile run ... 2016 (XC): Zerrenner was one of the bright spots during the 2016 cross country season for the Wildcats. She finished in the top-two on the team in every meat this season. Zerrenner’s season was highlighted by a 10th-place finish at the Pac-12 Championships that earned her second-team All-Pac-12 honors. Zerrenner went on to take 16th-place at the NCAA West Regional, earning her a spot on the West All-Regional team.
2015 (XC): Took second-place in the first two races last year in the George Kyte Classic and Dave Murray Classic. George Kyte was a 2.6 mile race where she clocked in at 15:11.90 at the Dave Murray Classic was a three-mile race where she clocked in at 16:55 … She eventually helped lead Arizona to a 14th place finish at the NCAA West Regional where she individually placed 30th in a 6k race with a time of 21:20 … She lead Arizona with three top-two finishes and three top-30 finishes, while never finishing worse than third amongst her teammates.
2015: Indoors, Zerrenner competed in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the UW Invitational and clocked a time of 10:28.94 … Outdoors, took eighth place at the Willie Williams Classic in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:54.01 … Finished in sixth place at the Arizona-ASU Dual meet in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:14.64, which was a personal best for her … Set a personal best at the San Francisco Carnival in the 5K with a time of 17:09.63 … Competed in the 5K at the Pac-12 Championships and finished in 29th place with a time of 18:04.59.
HIGH SCHOOL: Zerrenner graduated from Dos Pueblos High School … She was named team captain her junior and senior years … Zerrenner was voted team Most Valuable Player her sophomore, junior and senior years … She earned first-team all-conference, all-city and all-district honors all four years … Zerrenner earned all-region honors sophomore, junior and senior years and all-state accolades her sophomore and senior years … She was a two-time Santa Barbara Cross Country Athlete of the Year … Was a member of the 2011, 2012, 2013 Santa Barbara Country Championship teams on the track … She was a four-year National Honor Society recipient.
