Indoor: Made five appearances … Clocked a PR of 3:56.77 in the mile to take fifth at the NYRR Millrose Games … Won the mile race at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational with a time of 4:00.64 … Competed as part of the MPSF champion DMR team that clocked 9:34.95 … He also ran a time of 8:07.57 to place eighth in the 3k at the MPSF Championships … Qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships mile race, but the remainder of the 2020 indoor season was cancelled due to COVID-19.
Outdoor: Cancelled due to COVID-19.

2019 XC: Competed in three events … Placed fourth at NCAA Pre-Nationals with a time of 24:55.9 in the 8k … Ran a time of 23:45.8 in the 8k to finish in the top 25 at the Pac-12 Championships.

2019
Indoor: Competed in six events, finishing in the top-5 five times ... Won the Last Chance College Elite
after clocking a PR of 3:57.27 in the mile … Took second at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational with a time
of 4:00.36 in the mile ... Ran a time of 7:58.58 in the 3K race at the UW Invitational … Clocked a PR of
7:52.90 in the 3K at the MPSF Indoor Track & Field Championships where he also finished third in the
DMR with a time of 9:42.03 … Concluded the season at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field
Championships where he took fourth in the mile after running a time of 4:08.41.
Outdoor: Made seven appearances in the outdoor season … Opened the season with a PR of 14:07.05 in
the 5K at the Stanford Invitational … Won the Jim Click Shootout with a time of 1:47.54 in the 800-meter
run … Took second at the Bryan Clay Invitational after running a time of 3:37.22 in the 1500-meter run,
good for another PR … Finished fourth in the 1500-meter run with a time of 3:50.74 at the Pac-12 Track
& Field Championships where he also placed third in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:50.07 … Took
first in the 1500-meter run at the NCAA Division I West Region Preliminary Rounds after clocking a time
of 3:39.67 … Closed out the season at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships where
he ran a time of 3:48.54 in the 1500-meter run.

2018 (XC): Competed in six events, finishing in the top-5 three times ... Won the 2018 Dave Murray
Invitational with a time of 19:06.9 in the 6K contest ... Finished third in the Loyola Lakefront Invitational
with a time of 23:54.8 in the 8K run ... Clocked a time of 24:01.0 in the Wisconsin Pre Nationals to finish
10th in the 8K race ... Clocked a time of 23:24.8 in the Pac-12 Championships to finish 15th in the 8K
contest ... Finished second at the NCAA West Regional with a time of 29:43.4 in the 10K run ... Clocked a
time of 30:28.1 in the 10K at the NCAA Championships. 

2018
Indoor: Competed in five meetings ... Ran a time of 4:06.43 to finish 13th at the NCAA Indoor
Championships ... Clocked a PR in the mile run with a time of 3:57.64 at the 2018 Husky Classic ... Took
fourth in the mile run at the UW Invitational with a time of 3:59.65 ... Won the Larry
Wieczorek Invitational mile run with a time of 4:02.79.
Outdoor: Appeared in six meets ... Opened the season with a PR in the 5K at the Stanford Invitational
with a time of 14:23.87 ... Ran a PR in the 1500-meter run at the Bryan Clay Invitational with a mark of
3:38.28 ... Ran a PR in the 800-meter run at the Desert Heat Classic with a time of 1:46.70 to finish
second ... Closed out the season at the NCAA West Preliminary Round with a time of 3:47.71.

2017 XC: Competed in five events for the Wildcats ... Finished second in the Dave
Murray Invitational with a time of 19:29.60 in the 4.5 mile race ... Clocked a time of 23:54 in the Paul
Short Run to finish 15th in the 8K competition. 

2017
Indoors: Competed in four mile events, ranking in the top-5 in one outing … Tabbed a career mark of
4:03.37 at the MPSF Championships to take fourth … Marked a 4:04.19 at the Armory Track Invitational
… Earned a 4:11.70 at the Vanderbilt Invitational …
Outdoors: Competed in one 800-meter event and seven 1,500-meter events earning first place honors
on four outings and finishing in the top-3 on six occasions … Earned a third place finish in the 800-meter
with a personal best mark of 1:49.84 at the Pac-12 vs. Big 10 Invite …  Clocked a personal best 3:41.47 in
the 1500-meter to take first at the Payton Jordan Invitational … Finished second in the 1500-meter at
the Stanford Invitational with a 3:45.68 mark … Posted a 3:46.22 in the 1500-meter to finish in first at
the Pac-12 Championships prelim … Earned first place honors with a 3:48.94 mark at the Duel in the
Desert … Finished first in the 1500-meter contest at the Willie Williams Classic with a 3:49.77 mark … 

FRESHMAN (2015-16): Redshirted during the cross country season. 

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-year cross country and three-year track & field letter winner at Rio Rico high
school in Rio Rico, Ariz…. Was named the Southern Arizona Cross Country and Track runner of the year
during his senior year … Was a Milesplit All-American in the mile run … In 2014, he was named the
Gatorade Cross Country Runner of the Year in Arizona and was named the 2015 Gatorade Track & Field
Athlete of the Year as well … He holds the school record in the 800m, the 1600m, the mile, the 3200m
and the 5K … He also holds the state record in the 1600m with a time of 4:03.97 … His team won the AIA
Division 3 Track & Field state championship.

PERSONAL: The son of Jaime and Rosa Teso … The Rio Rico, Ariz. native has one brother, JJ and a sister,
Sophia … Was born in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico, but has lived in Arizona since he was six years
old … He plans on majoring in Criminal Justice at the University of Arizona.
