2017:
Indoors: Did not compete in the Indoor season.
Outdoors: Competed in 14 events, seven in the discus throw and seven in the hammer throw … Took third at the Duel in the Desert in the discus throw, and set a career mark of 182-11 (55.75m) to place second … Marked a 181-5 (55.29m) in the hammer throw at the Pac-12 vs. Big 10 to place 8th, and took 18th in the discus throw …  Tabbed a 180-6 (55.01m) mark at the Willie Williams Classic to take second in the hammer throw and added a fifth place finish in the discus throw … Placed 8th in the hammer throw at the Jim Click Shootout and finished 10th in the hammer throw …  Took 7th in both the discus and hammer throws at the TCU Big 5 Classic … Placed 13th in the hammer throw at the Pac-12 Championships and took 14thin the discus throw … Placed 15th in the hammer throw at the Triton Invitational and took 18th in the discus throw.

2016: Did not compete in the indoor season ... Cashman competed in the discus and hammer throw during his 2016 campaign. He set personal bests in both events with a mark of 168 ft. – 2 in. (51.25m) in the discus and a mark of 181 ft. – 11 in. (55.44m) in the hammer throw. Cashman would compete in the discus at the Pac-12 Championships where he earned a 20th-place finish with a mark of 152 ft. – 11 in. (46.60m).

2015: Did not compete during the indoor season … Outdoors, Cashman set a personal best in the discus throw at the Arizona-ASU Dual meet with a toss of 157-0 (47.85m) and finished in sixth place overall … Took eighth place at the Jim Click Shootout in the discus throw with a mark of 154-3 (47.01m) … Set a personal-best mark in the hammer throw at the ASU Invitational with a toss of 163-3 (49.75m), good for 11th place … Finished in fifth place at the Arizona-ASU Dual meet in the hammer throw with a toss of 153-3 (46.68m).

2014: Redshirted the indoor and outdoor season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Cashman graduated from Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Ariz. … He was the team captain his senior year and the team MVP … In his junior year, Cashman was the region champion in the discus and in his senior year he was the shot put champion … Cashman threw 156-11 in the discus and 48-9 in the shot put … He received the Wildcat Excellence Scholarship.

PERSONAL: He is the son of Kristina and James Cashman and was born in Phoenix, Ariz. … Both of his parents got their degrees from the University of Texas where his father threw the discus for the track and field team and his mother played on the volleyball team … He has two brothers, Cody, who is also enrolled at Arizona, and Owen … He also has one sister, Cathryn … He is pursuing a degree in biology and aspires to be a marine biologist.
