Hanna Peterson enters her first year as Arizona's assistant cross country and track and field coach.
Peterson spent one season as a volunteer coach for the Air Force cross country team. She joined the Air Force program in August 2017 after spending the past year working with both the men's and women's cross country and track teams at UCLA.
Before coaching at the collegiate level, Peterson was a member of the cross country and track teams at the University of Arizona. She was a key component of the team that claimed the first cross country conference championship in program history and also helped Arizona earn a runner-up finish at the 2013 NCAA Cross Country Championships -- the best finish in program history.
A native of Riverside, Calif., Peterson graduated from the University of Arizona in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in film and television studies.
