2015: Indoors, Smith set a new personal best time in the 200-meter dash at the Don Kirby Elite when she clocked a time of 25.40 … Clocked a time of 56.98 at the MPSF Championships in the 400-meter run, which was a season best and good for 27th place … Outdoors, set three new personal bests during the 2015 outdoor season … Clocked a 24.70 in the 200-meter dash at the ASU Invitational, a new personal best for Smith and finished in sixth place … Set a personal best in the 400-meter run at the Jim Click Shootout with a time of 54.78, good for a fifth-place finish … Finished in sixth place in the 800-meter race at the Willie Williams Classic by clocking a personal best time of 2:17.01.
2014: Indoors, Smith posted her personal-best time of 25.54 in the 200-meter sprint at the MPSF Championships, earning a 35th-place finish … At the Mountain T’s Invitational, Smith posted a personal-best time of 56.98 in the 400-meter sprint, finishing in third place overall … Outdoors, Smith ran 25.29 in the 200 meters at the Jim Click Shootout, a personal-best mark … In the 400-meter race, Smith’s personal-best time of 56.53 came at the Jim Click Shootout as well, finishing in ninth place.
2013: Redshirted the indoor and outdoor season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Smith is a graduate of Pinnacle High School where she earned team MVP honors her junior and senior year … She holds the school records for the 100 meters, 200 meters, the 4x100-meter relay and the 4x400-meter relay … Smith and her team were regional champions and district champions all four years of her career … She was also recruited by Brown and Cornell.
PERSONAL: She is the daughter of Bradley and Danna Smith and was born in Phoenix, Ariz. … She has a brother, Alex who played football at South Dakota State in 2010 … She is pursuing is a degree in chemistry and aspires to be a doctor.
