2015: Indoors, ran the 60-meter dash in 8.84 at the Don Kirby Elite … Competed in the 200-meter dash at the Don Kirby Elite and clocked a time of 23.63 … Outdoors, took seventh in the long jump at the Jim Click Shootout with a mark of 20-7.75 (6.29m) … Ran the 100-meter dash in 11.60 at the Jim Click Shootout and finished in 13th place.
2014: Indoors, Zimmerman ran the 60-meter dash at the Mountain T’s Invitational and posted a time of 7.17 … His season-best mark in the long jump was 21-8.25 (6.61m) … Outdoors, Zimmerman clocked a personal-best time of 10.99 in the 100-meter dash at the Jim Click Shootout … His season-best mark in the long jump was 21-7.25 (6.58m) at the Jim Click Multis … Zimmerman ran on the men’s 4x100-meter relay team, the quartet of Zimmerman, Mohammad Alhasan, John Kane and Bryce Houston had a season-best time of 40.77 at the UA-ASU-NAU Double Dual … Zimmerman also ran on the 4x100-meter relay team at the Pac-12 Championships where the quartet took ninth place overall.
2013: Indoors, Zimmerman made his sole appearance during the indoor season at the Don Kirby Invitational where he long jumped 21-5.5 (6.54m) and took 15th place … Outdoors, Zimmerman’s personal best came at the Jim Click Shootout where he jumped 22-1.75 (6.75m) and took 10th place … He also jumped at the UA-ASU-NAU Double Dual and posted a mark of 22-1.5 (6.74m), good for third place … Zimmerman also dabbled in the 100-meter dash, posting a personal-best time of 11.33 at the Jim Click Shootout and taking 16th place.
HIGH SCHOOL: Zimmerman is a graduate of Briarcliff High School and was named the team MVP for his junior year … He was three-time Westchester County Champion in the high jump … He earned all-section accolades in the high jump and long jump … He has a personal-best mark of 6-3 in the high jump, a school record … He also holds the school record in the long jump with a mark of 22-3.5 … He could not compete his senior year due to three torn ligaments in his ankle.
