2023 Outdoor – National Champion in the shot put at the NCAA Championships with a throw of 21.06m (69-1.25)… Finished third in the hammer throw at the NCAA Championships as well with a personal best and school record heave of 75.97m (249-3)… First Team All-American in both the shot put and hammer throw… Finished second in both the shot put and hammer throw at the NCAA West First Round Championships to advance to the outdoor championships in Austin, Texas… Won his fifth and sixth overall Pac-12 Titles at the Pac-12 Championships in both the shot put and hammer throw… Tied for the most Pac-12 Titles overall in conference history… His shot put victory was the fourth of his career, which is the most all-time for a man in Pac-12 history… Named 2023 Pac-12 Men’s Field Athlete of the Year for the third time of his career… Broke his own Arizona school record in the hammer throw with a heave of 74.14m (243-3) to win the event at the Jim Click Shootout… In the first meet of the season, the Island Relays, he originally broke the school record in the hammer throw after winning the event as well which earned him USTFCCCA and Pac-12 Athlete of the Week honors… Posted a season best mark in the shot put at the Mt. 2023 Indoor – National Champion in the shot put at the NCAA Indoor Championships, winning the event with a throw of 21.15m (69-4.75) and being named a First Team All-American... Qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the weight throw as well where he finished as an Honorable Mention All-American… Broke the Arizona school record in the indoor shot put after winning the event at the Lumberjack Team Challenge with a throw of 21.48m (70-5.75)… Named USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week (1/24) in the shot put after his throw at the Lumberjack Team Challenge was also the 10th best throw in NCAA history… Finished runner-up at the USATF Indoor Championships in the shot put as one of the few collegiate athletes that participated among professionals in the sport… Won the shot put at both the Don Kirby Invitational and the Texas Tech Open Multi’s… Posted a personal best toss in the weight throw of 22.24m (72-11.75) at the Texas Tech Open Multi’s and finished first in the event… Ended in second place in the weight throw at the Don Kirby Invitational… His top nine marks in the shot put were also the top nine best marks in the NCAA.
2022 Outdoor - Shot put champion of the Willie Williams Classic/Dave Murray Distance Classic with a mark of 20.53m(67-4.25) … Hammer throw champion of the Jim Click Shootout posting 68.97m(226-3) in the event… Shot put champion of the Desert Heat Classic posting a mark of 21.03m(69-0)
2022 Indoor - Shotput champion at three events on the season and finished runner-up in another two… Posted a career best in the weight throw with a 21.75m(71-4.25) toss at the WSU Open… On the podium for NCAA Championships in the shot put with a mark of 21.27m(69-9.5)
2021 Outdoor - NCAA Championships and U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier … Pac-12 Shot Put Champion with a mark of 20.35m (66-9.25) and on the podium in the hammer throw, launching a PR of 71.78m (235-6) to finish runner-up and give him the second-best mark in school history … First Team All-American in the two events, scoring in both at the NCAA Championships with a shot put mark of 20.40m (66-11.25) and hammer throw of 70.53m (231-5) … One of two collegians to finish in the U.S. Olympic Trials shot put top 10, taking seventh with a season-best mark of 20.80m (68-3).
2021 Indoor - Qualified for the NCAA Championships with an indoor season-best shot put mark of 20.37m (66-10) to finish third at the Texas Tech Shootout … Threw for 18.89m (61-11.75) at the NCAA Championships.
2020 Outdoor: Cancelled due to COVID-19.
2020 Indoor: Did not compete in the 2020 indoor season.
2019 Outdoor: Competed in eight events, including the NCAA Championships … Threw a PR mark of 67.40 meters in the hammer throw to take first at the Jim Click Shootout where he also won the shot put and discus throw events … Threw another PR of 21.59 meters in the shot put to place first at the Triton Invitational … Won the shot put contest at the Pac-12 Championships with a mark of 21.08 meters … Finished third in the shot put at the NCAA championships with a mark of 20.31 meters.
2019 Indoor: Made five appearances, including the NCAA Indoor Championships … Won the shot put contests at four of the five events he competed in … Threw a mark of 21.15 meters at the Texas Tech Shootout … Threw a PR mark of 20.60 meters in the weight throw to place second at the MPSF Indoor Track & Field Championships … Concluded the season at the NCAA Indoor Championships where he took fifth in the shot put with a mark of 20.28 meters.
2018 Outdoor: Finished fifth in the shot put at the NCAA Championships with a mark of 20.32m (66-8) ... Took 12th in the discus throw at the NCAA Championships with a mark of 54.95m (180-3) ... Won the Pac-12 Championship in the shot put and discus throw with marks of 20.06m (65-9.75) in the shot and a PR of 57.56m (188-10) in the discus ... Won the UCSD Triton Invitational shot put contest with a mark of 20.04m (65-9) ... Won the Jim Click Shootout shot put event with a mark of 19.69m (64-7.25).
2018 Indoor: Set the Arizona & NCAA freshman indoor record in the shot put with a mark of 21.45m (70-4.5) to win the UW Invitational ... Took fifth in the NCAA Indoor Championship shot put competition with a mark of 19.63m (64-4.5) ... Won the NAU Friday Night Duels shot put and weight throw competitions with marks of 19.45m in the shot and 18.28m in the weight throw.
High School: Graduated from Knoch High School in 2017 ... 2017 Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year ... Won a national title at the New Balance Outdoor Championships with a hammer toss of 238-0 (72.54m), good for the top prep mark in the country and the third-best in U.S. high school history... 2017 Pan-Am Junior champion in the shot put event, marking a 72-3 (22.02m) and setting the Pan American Junior Games record... Tossed a 76-11 (23.55m) to win the TSTCA Indoor Championships shot put event... Ranked a top-10 discus thrower in the country, he tossed a 208-7 at the PIAA District 7 AAA Championships to take first.
