Coach Gunning enters his third year with the University of Arizona as a strength and conditioning coach. While at Arizona he has worked with a wide range of sports.

Gunning earned his master's degree in exercise science.

He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

He is also a Certified USA Weightlifting Coach, and holds several certifications from the NSCA, USAW, USATF, the Grey Institute, and ACSM.
