2023 Outdoor Second Team All-American (Discus)

2025 Indoor – Finished third in the shot put at the Friday Night Axe ‘Em Open with a season best throw of 62-1.25 (18.93m)… Placed third overall in the shot put at the Stan Scott Invite and Multis, fifth at the Corky Classic, and seventh at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic… Competed in both the shot put and weight throw at the Big 12 Indoor Championships… Posted a personal best heave of 60-10.5 (18.55m) in the weight throw a the Stan Scott Invite and Multis to place fifth overall… Finished eighth overall in the weight throw at both the Friday Night Axe ‘Em Open and the Corky Classic… Appeared in six meets.

2024 Outdoor – Did not compete in the 2024 outdoor season.

2024 Indoor – Won the shot put at the NAU Tune Up with a season best throw of 59-6.75 (18.15m)… Finished third in the shot put at the NAU Friday Night Axe’em Open, fourth at the Texas Tech Jarvis Scott Open, and seventh at the River Hawk Invitational… Posted a personal best toss in the weight throw at the Texas Tech Jarvis Scott Open of 59-5 (18.11m)… Was a contributor to Arizona men’s shot put’s first place ranking in the USTFCCCA Event Squad Rankings… Appeared in five meets.

2023 Outdoor – Finished 11th in the discus at the NCAA Championships with a personal best throw of 59.73m (195-11) which is ninth all-time in school history… Placed 18th in the shot put at the NCAA Championships as well… Named a Second Team All-American in the discus… Finished sixth in the shot put and seventh in the discus at the NCAA West First Round Championships to advance to the outdoor championships in Austin, Texas… Posted a personal best throw of 19.81m (65-0) at the NCAA West First Round Championships which is sixth in school history… Finished sixth in the discus at the Pac-12 Championships with a heave of 58.56m (192-1)… Placed fourth in the shot put at the Pac-12 Championships as well… Won the discus and placed second in the shot put at the Island Relays to open the season… Won the discus at back-to-back meets with the Willie Williams Classic and Jim Click Shootout… Finished runner-up in the shot put at the Willie Williams Classic… Placed third in the discus at the Mt. SAC Relays and third in the shot put at the Desert Heat Classic… Appeared in eight meets.

2023 Indoor – Won the shot put at the NAU Tune Up with a throw of 19.16m (62-10.5)… Finished third overall in the shot put at the Lumberjack Team Challenge with a personal best mark of 19.30m (63-4)… Placed runner-up in the shot put at the Ken Shannon Invitational… Finished in fifth place in the shot put at the Texas Tech Open Multi’s and in sixth place at the Don Kirby Invitational… Appeared in five meets.

2022 Outdoor – Posted PR throws in both the shot put, 17.85m (58-6.75), and the discus, 54.06m (177-4), at the Jim Click Shootout to finish third in each event… Placed second in the shot put at the Willie Williams Classic… Competed in shot put and discus at the Pac-12 Outdoor Championships and just the shot put at the NCAA West Preliminary Round.

2022 Indoor – Won the WSU Open in the shot put… Placed second in the shot put at the Corky Classic and fourth at the Texas Tech Open.

2021 Outdoor - Competed in the discus throw and shot put … Posted a discus PR of 52.74m (173-0) to take fourth at the West Coast Classic … Threw for 51.93m (170-4) in the discus at the Pac-12 Championships … Picked up a PR in the shot put with a mark of 16.63m (54-6.75) at the Jim Click Shootout.

2021 Indoor - Did not compete in the 2021 indoor season.

2020 Outdoor - Cancelled due to COVID-19.

High School: Attended Desert Vista High School … Lettered in track & field for three years and football for two years … Named first team all-city and second team all-state his senior year as well as most valuable thrower on his team.

Personal: Son of Farid Koudssi and Raja Habbal and brother to Samia … First language is French … Enjoys listening to music and watching football in his free time … Pursuing a degree in electrical engineering.
