Briana Felix

Briana Felix is entering her fourth year as Assistant Coordinator for the Women’s basketball program. She is a proud Tucson native and graduate of the University of Arizona.
 
She played at Avila University in Kansas City, Mo. There she was a Spirit of Avila award winner. Felix would return to the University of Arizona to finish her degree and aided as a student manager for the women’s program under Joan Bonvincini in 2004. She also played for Tucson’s Semi-pro women’s team, Las Tucson Sol.
 
Prior, Felix was the Assistant Director for the Lute Olson Basketball Academy (LOBA) from 2013-2017. She was also the Program Director for the Blair Charity Groups, Arizona Basketball Academy (ABA) from 2013-2017. Briana has also assisted with: The Adia Barnes Academy Camps, the Lute Olson Fantasy Camp, the Solomon Hill Camp, the Gabe York Camp, the Brian Anderson Camp, the Christine Clark Camp, the “No Butts About It” Camp, and the Salpointe Catholic Basketball Camps.
 
Briana is a National Federation of State High School Association, Accredited Interscholastic Coach (AIC). She has previous coaching experience as Head coach for Salpointe Catholic High Schools Girls basketball (2007-2014). She was the Freshmen coach there as well and started the Briana Felix Lancer Girls Basketball Camp while at her alma mater. Felix also served as Head coach for the Women’s Basketball program at Tohono O’odham Community College, and also served as an assistant coach for the school.
 
Earlier experience includes; coaching various youth MS teams in Kansas City and Tucson, basketball staff at Camp Cedar in Casco, ME, Assistant Coach Camp Cedar boys 15U team, and operations manager for Sporting Chance 17U boys 2007 team.
 
She is very devoted to improving her Old Pueblo community by providing opportunities for youth to gain access to the sport and helping them utilize the benefits it brings both on and off the court.
