Daniel Boice is in his fifth year with the University of Arizona women's basketball program and his entering his second season as the team’s video coordinator. His duties with the Wildcats include handling all aspects of film exchange and breakdown for the program while also coordinating practice players.
In addition, Boice coordinates UA’s Little Dribbler’s program, which works with youth to improve their basketball skill development throughout the year.
As an undergraduate student, Boice spent three years as a student manager with the women’s basketball program. His duties included assisting coaches with scouting reports, editing of scout clips, working closely alongside the video coordinator to develop scout edits and player highlight videos, while also assisting the recruiting coordinator by maintaining and organizing the program’s recruiting database.
During the summers Boice worked various elite camps including Gonzaga, Kentucky, Utah, and Arizona.
Prior to Arizona, Boice played basketball for Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa for one season before transitioning to a student assistant coach. As a student assistant he coordinated summer and team camps as well as recruiting. Boice also implemented player development workouts for the team including five players who were named to NAIA All-Conference teams.
Boice graduated from the University of Arizona in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in literacy, learning and leadership from the College of Education, while qualifying for the dean’s list on three separate occasions and earning cum laude honors.
He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in educational leadership at the University of Arizona with an expected graduation date of May 2016.
