Kyle Hutson joins the women's basketball staff at Arizona after four years with Columbia women’s basketball. He previously spent two seasons with the Lions as a graduate assistant before moving to a full-time video and analytics role in 2021. 

Before his time at Columbia, Hutson spent two years as a stat auditor for the NBA, working out of the NBA’s Secaucus headquarters. He communicated with in-arena statisticians during games to confirm all play-by-play descriptions and statistics. Hutson additionally worked as a video scout for Sports Info Solutions in Allentown, Pa., compiling and analyzing data for baseball and football games.

Hutson graduated from the University of Arizona in 2015 and earned a master’s degree in sports management from Columbia University in 2021. He grew up in St. Louis, Mo., and has Arizona graduates in his family.
