University of Arizona Athletics

Jordon Smith joined the University of Arizona as an academic counselor in June of 2023. Prior to that, she spent a year as Director of Football Academics at Abilene Christian University in. As an academic counselor, Smith works with women’s basketball, softball, gymnastics, beach volleyball, and track and field.  
  
While at Abilene Christian, she was a part of the academic team that posted the highest ever academic year and semester GPAs. Prior to her work at ACU, Smith spent time at the University of Arkansas as an Academic Graduate Assistant, where she assisted with Football, Men’s Tennis, Men’s Golf, and the tutoring program.  

Smith got her start in college athletics in 2020 as a student intern in academics at LSU. She also had stops as an intern at Tulane University and Southeastern Louisiana University working with several different teams.  

Jordon is originally from Dallas, Texas and attended LSU, where she obtained her BS in Sport Administration (2021) and her MS in Athletic Leadership from Clemson (2023). She now resides in Tucson with her Doberman, Dirk.
