In her first and only season as a Wildcat, Lukic held a 13-9 singles record, including a win over a top-10 opponent, as well as a 9-8 doubles record. She played ten matches at the No. 1 spot, where she collected five wins on the season. Lukic finished the season in the ITA singles ranking at No. 99 and the ITA regional singles rankings at No. 13. In doubles, Lukic and her partner Khim Iglupas were the first Wildcat doubles team to break the ITA regional doubles rankings since 2016, finishing at the No. 10 spot.

Before her time at Arizona, Lukic attended the University of Portland, where she was a two-time All-WCC Singles Second Team award recipient, and earned all conference all three completed seasons. Her overall record for the Pilots was 46-37 in singles and 33-46 in doubles. She also has a career high WTA ranking of 1059.

Throughout her junior career, Lukic established herself as one of the top players in both Serbia and Europe. She won the U-18 European Championships and won the Serbian National Championships in every age category. She also reached the semi-finals of a futures event on the WTA circuit in 2016. 

Lukic is the daughter of Zivko and Jasmnia Lukic, and has one brother, Aleksa. She speaks seven languages and is hoping to add Spanish to the list in the near future. In her spare time, Lukic loves to go for hikes or spend time on the beach.
