Alex Sjobakken joined the Arizona Athletics staff as Assistant Athletics Director, Marketing and Fan Engagement in September of 2024.
Prior to joining Arizona, Sjobakken spent three years at LSU starting her tenure as Assistant Director of Marketing before being promoted to Director of Marketing where she oversaw marketing and promotional efforts and in-venue fan experience for Football, Gymnastics, and Baseball. Prior to her time in Baton Rouge, Sjobakken spent two years as a Graduate Assistant at Boise State where she worked with the marketing and promotions department while earning her masters in athletics leadership.
A native of Fort Collins, Colorado, she earned her bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science at Colorado State University in 2018.
