Bruce Helming, M.D., is a board-certified family medicine physician at the University of Arizona. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has earned a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine after completing his fellowship at the University of Arizona. In addition to serving as assistant head team physician, his primary job responsibility is as assistant medical director at the University of Arizona Campus Health Service. He has a special interest in mental health for students and athletes and was co-volunteer of the year for USA Triathlon Multisport in 2019.
