Carsen Chakarian was named as the Olympic Sports Dietitian in September of 2024, and oversees the nutritional care and programming for all Olympic Sports Teams.
Chakarian brings experience from Banner Sports Medicine High Performance Center, as well as EXOS in Phoenix, both off-season training facilities serving high performing elite and professional athletes.
During graduate school, Chakarian supported each Division 1 University in San Diego, California in different capacities; namely University of California San Diego, University of San Diego, and San Diego State University, providing athletes with sports nutrition services.
Chakarian earned both her graduate and undergraduate degrees from San Diego State University. She holds a Dual Master’s of Science Degree in both Exercise Physiology and Nutritional Sciences.
