University of Arizona Athletics

Dana joined the Arizona Wildcat Sports Properties team in March 2009, as a well-respected Tucson radio and television veteran.  In addition to his role as Senior Manager of Business Development, he also serves as the radio sideline reporter for Arizona Football broadcasts on the Learfield Radio Network.  For three years prior to joining Learfield, he was the co-producer and host of "Inside Arizona Business With Dana Cooper" on Tucson's NBC affiliate. The show profiled successful businesses and business people, and covered the issues driving economic development and business growth in Southern Arizona. 

Dana also served as principal marketing consultant with Monopolize Your Marketplace. He taught businesses how to separate themselves from their competitors and to generate more business by communicating those differences through compelling marketing and advertising messages.

For 13 years, he produced and hosted the basketball and football coaches' television shows for the University of Arizona Athletics. He has also worked for FOX Sports Net Arizona, KTTU-TV and Tucson's ESPN radio affiliate in covering University of Arizona football and basketball.

Cooper is a former sales manager and director of training and development for the Journal Broadcast Group, a cluster of four radio stations in Tucson.

He is past-chairman of the Tucson Fiesta Bowl Committee and serves on the board of directors of the Good Friday Breakfast and the Ambassador Board for Make A Wish Arizona.
