Darren Graessle was named Director of Ticket Operations and Customer Relations in 2002 after working his way through several other positions in the Mckale Ticket Office, including senior cashier, Ticket Office Manager and Assistant Director of Ticket Operations, since his hiring in 1993. Graessle oversees ticketing for Football and assists with all other ticketed sports at Arizona. During his tenure in the athletic ticket office, Graessle has helped transition the office from a largely manual operation to one with strong online capabilities.
Born in Harrison Township, Pa., Graessle moved to Tucson in 1973. He received his bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Arizona in 1990 – the same year his soon-to-be wife, Virginia, received a master’s degree from Arizona in French Literature. The Graessles were married in 1990 and had their only child, William, in 1991. William graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arizona in 2016 with a major in history.
