Emily Meinert joined the Arizona Women's Basketball staff as Performance Enhancement Assistant Coach in 2026, bringing experience in strength and conditioning, athlete development, and women's basketball performance training.
Prior to Arizona, Meinert spent two seasons with the women's basketball program at the University of New Mexico, where she played an integral role in the Lobos' strength and conditioning efforts. Before her time in Albuquerque, she served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Louisiana Monroe, working with women's basketball, softball, and men's and women's golf.
While at ULM, Meinert earned her master's degree in applied exercise science and served as a graduate assistant from 2023-24. She oversaw strength and conditioning programs for women's basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball, and tennis while assisting with football operations.
A former collegiate basketball player, Meinert competed for three seasons at Northern Illinois University, where she also gained experience within the Huskies' strength and conditioning department. Prior to NIU, she played two seasons at Parkland College and earned her associate's degree in 2020.
Meinert received her bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois in 2022 and her master's degree from Louisiana Monroe in applied exercise science.
