As a Financial Analyst Heather works with all departments as the travel liaison and main point of contact overseeing hotels, flight and bus charters and the contracts that support them. She also works with Women's Triathlon and other Staff departments to support the Wildcat Athlete journey. She takes the athlete centric approach focusing on how to better the student athlete experience in all she does in the business office.

Prior to her role as a Financial Analyst Heather spent four years with the Track and Field and Cross Country Team as their Director of Operations. She was the Track and Field Meet Director of five top 100 World Athletics Certified meets working with World Athletics and USATF to put on these world class meets. She also worked to integrate adaptive athletics heats into the meet and collaborated with Arizona Adaptive to meet IPC meet standards as well.

Heather has held the position of Head Cross Country and Track coach at Empire High School in the Vail School District since 2016. She was named one of only a few National Coaches of the Year by the Positive Coaching Alliance in 2020. Prior to being named head coach, she worked as an assistant coach for two years.

She has an extensive background in digital communications as both a technical education teacher and a creative director. In 2017, she taught graphic design, film and tv in the Vail District. She has also aided businesses and organizations in creating and establishing their brands since 2012, specializing in small and medium sized businesses.

Heather was formerly a accomplished distance runner at BYU where she earned her degree in business management.
