Dr. Nisbet has been involved with teaching orthopaedics and practicing orthopaedic surgery for the last 30 years in Tucson, Arizona with a clinical focus in sports injuries of the knee, shoulder, hip, elbow and ankle.

· Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at University of California, San Francisco
· Sport Medicine, Knee and Shoulder Fellowship at The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah
· Board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine
· He continues to lecture and teach in the University of Arizona Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship and Banner Tucson Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program.
· He has been full-time clinical faculty at the University of Arizona Section of Orthopaedic Surgery and more recently has been senior and managing partner in private orthopaedic practice at University Orthopedic Specialists.
· He has been the team Orthopaedic Surgeon for the Tucson Sidewinders, the Tucson Roadrunners and Sabino High School while also serving as orthopaedic team physician for the University of Arizona athletic teams.
· He has been on the Board of Directors of Camp Lowell Surgery Center and Arizona Community Surgeons.
