University of Arizona Athletics

Kate Brennan joined the University of Arizona Athletics Department in August 2024 as Executive Associate for the Director of Athletics. A member of the department’s Executive Team, she supports the daily operations of the Vice President and Director of Athletics and serves as a key liaison across executive initiatives and departmental priorities.

Brennan brings a unique perspective to her role, drawing on her experience as a former Division I student-athlete and professional volleyball player. She competed in collegiate volleyball at both UNLV and Boston College before continuing her career with LP Vampula in Finland’s top professional league. Her background as a student-athlete and international competitor informs her strong commitment to service, collaboration, and excellence in college athletics.

A native of Endicott, New York, Brennan earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a master’s degree in executive leadership and administration from Boston College. She plays a key role in advancing Arizona Athletics’ mission and supporting its leadership team.
