University of Arizona Athletics

Lanny Bradford has been a part of Arizona since 2002. From 2002-2006 he served as the athletic trainer for football, baseball and the swimming and diving teams. After leaving Arizona in 2006 he returned in 2013 and is now an associate athletic trainer and works with the football team.

Bradford hails from Hugoton, Kan., and attended Iowa State University where he received his degree athletic training with a minor in health. He later went on to pursue his Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Purdue University. While at Purdue he was also a graduate assistant athletic trainer.

Immediately after receiving his Master’s, Bradford went on to work at Buena Vista University where he worked at as an athletic trainer for the men’s and women’s soccer teams, women’s basketball, wrestling, baseball and softball teams. After working there for two years he works at Arizona until 2006 and moved to University of California, Berkely. While at California he worked with the football team for two years. In 2008 he moved once again to Northwestern University where he worked with men’s basketball and men’s and women’s golf. In 2013 he returned to Arizona where he now resides with his wife Brooke and son Logan.
