Marison Bilagody joined Arizona Athletics in the Fall of 2022 as a photography intern during his senior year. After graduating in 2023, he continued to work with Arizona Athletics as a part-time staff photographer, assisting with game day, marketing, recruiting, and archival photography needs. In the Fall of 2025, he was promoted to full-time staff photographer.
Marison is Navajo and Apache and grew up in Tuba City, AZ, a small town on the Navajo Reservation in northern Arizona. He is a graduate of the School of Journalism at the University of Arizona and minored in studio art with an emphasis in photography.
Before working with Arizona Athletics, Marison worked for the University of Arizona’s student newspaper, the Arizona Daily Wildcat, as a photographer.
Marison’s photography work has won numerous awards, including the Drew Gyorke Photojournalism Award, the James Alan Cox Foundation Photojournalism Scholarship, and the Doug Pensinger Photography Fund Development Grant.
