Marissa Elias-Castaneda serves as the Assistant Director of Internal Operations for Arizona Men's Basketball under head coach Tommy Lloyd. During her tenure, the program has achieved immediate and sustained success, including conference championships, regular-season excellence, and consistent NCAA Tournament appearances, earning national recognition for its performance and culture.
In her role, she oversees internal operations and provides organizational leadership and a wide range of support in a championship-level environment.
Elias-Castaneda previously served as the Administrative Associate to head coach Sean Miller, supporting a highly successful era marked by conference titles, deep postseason runs in the NCAA Tournament, and sustained national prominence. She joined the Men's Basketball program at the invitation of former assistant coach Jim Rosborough, who was part of the Hall of Fame era under head coach Lute Olson, highlighted by conference championships and a national title in 1997.
Beginning her career in Arizona Athletics in the McKale ticket office, Elias-Castaneda has supported multiple head coaches and coaching staffs, bringing extensive institutional knowledge and long-standing commitment to the program.
