Mary Hartman, a Native Tucsonan, earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from U of A in 2004. She taught in the Tucson Unified School District for 14 years before returning to school to pursue a master’s degree. In January 2016, she joined the C.A.T.S Academics department as a part-time Assistant Learning Specialist. After graduating with her master’s in Educational Psychology, Mary joined the C.A.T.S. staff as a full-time Learning Specialist July 2019. She is currently focused on assessing and advancing literacy skills among college students, specifically in the areas of reading fluency and comprehension.
