Matt Gebert

Matt Gebert joins the Wildcats as Assistant Football Strength and Conditioning Coach following one season with Indiana, where he served as the program’s athletic performance coach. Arizona Football head coach Brent Brennan announced the hiring of Gebert on Jan. 26, 2014.

While at Indiana, Gebert assisted in the design and implementation of performance program’s for the football team. He also oversaw the program’s 1080 Sprint Testing, and assisted in Catapult, ForceDecks, NordBord, and Perch tracking.

Prior to his time at Indiana, Gebert also logged stints at Stanford (2020-22), Florida International (2017-20), Purdue (2015-17), the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars (2014-15), Minnesota (2014-14), Columbia (2013), and Rutgers (2013).

Gebert is a 2013 graduate of Western Connecticut State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, and a 2015 graduate of the University of Minnesota, where he acquired a master’s of education in Applied Kinesieology.
