Monroe Donnelly was named Assistant Athletics Director for Financial Reporting and Analysis in January of 2025 after four years at Florida State University.
Donnelly served as the Director of Business Operations for the Seminoles from January 2021 until his departure. His responsibilities included management of the day-to-day financial operation, internal reporting, external audit and NCAA report preparation. He also served as the secondary sport supervisor for the Men’s and Women’s Tennis programs as well as the Women’s Soccer program.
Prior to his time in Tallahassee, Donnelly served as an Operations Assistant at the 101st PGA Championship, played on the world-renowned Black Course at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, N.Y. While with the PGA he assisted in all aspects of tournament preparation, operation, and tear down.
Donnelly holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from John Carroll University and a master’s degree in Sport Management from Florida State University. While at John Carroll, he was a four-year letter winner, All-American and captain of the baseball team.
