Sammy Swiger was appointed Director of Corporate Sponsorships for Arizona Sports Enterprises at the University of Arizona in July 2024. In this role, he leads strategic partnerships and sponsorship initiatives, contributing to the organization's growth and visibility.
Before joining Arizona, Sammy served as Director of Ticket Sales at Mizzou from January 2022 to 2024, where he was part of the leadership team overseeing the department’s ticket sales operations. During his tenure, Sammy played a pivotal role in driving sales growth across all sports and served as the secondary sports administrator for the women’s volleyball program.
Prior to Mizzou, Sammy spent nearly nine years at the University of Tennessee, from 2014 to 2021, advancing through multiple positions in ticket sales. His final role there was Associate General Manager of Ticket Sales, where he led a team of nine individuals and oversaw the department’s significant achievements, including the sale of 73,394 season tickets in 2016.
A native of Gainesville, Florida, Sammy holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Central Florida, which he earned in 2013.
